ARK: Survival Evolved / Ark tweaks

When I first ran Ark on my 'machine' it wasn't good. After I put these commands in the steam launch parameters thingy I got twice the FPS. Bear in mind the last bit will set the game to DirectX10 instead of 11.

After playing GTAV last night I received an email saying I've been banned - no reason and no clue to how long I've been banned for, fucking idiots!

EDIT: Ingame it says I'm banned until 2nd June 2016 - no reason though. Sigh.

Equipment / SSD Solid State Drives

So yeh I got an SSD.

I decided because SSD's are getting cheaper and because of the performance boost they 'supposebly' give, that I would get one.

Windows now loads (ready to use) in less than 25 seconds. My apps and programs respond much better and the games I've tried so far run much more smoothly.

My PC is still a potato but it's a faster potato.

Does anyone know any good tips about using an SSD?

Games in general / No Man's Sky vs Elite Dangerous

I know there's Elite Dangerous and it does look good and I'm itching to get it but I wasn't impressed with paying extra for landing on planets.

So I've decided to wait a while to see how the development goes, especially as No Man's Sky is looking so promising.
